Garden of the Sahaba (GSA) and Salah Tawfiq Elementary (STEMS) have merged their schools operations to better serve the community. The two schools operate under the same leadership and use a combined operating budget.

Greater sense of unity in the community is achieved by this GSA/STEMS merger. We are now able to serve communities from South Broward to West Palm Beach. We are also pooling our resources - both financial and in personnel to create greater value for the limited funds available for education.

Classes from Pre-K through Grade 8 are currently with the possibility of starting a high school by the next school year in a state-of-the-art facility with licensed and certified teachers. Most of our teachers are certified and academically qualified. Some of our Islamic Studues teachers are graduates of Al-Azhar University.

Bus service from the WPB Masjid [Purdy Lane] will be provided if a reasonable number of students sign up. This possibility is being finalized and subject to early registration.

Highest quality education in an Islamic environment. Our community-based school will promote the highest educational standards in a safe Islamic environment.

Why Islamic Education? Our children have the right to have a proper Islamic upbringing. This primary responsibility to fulfill these rights of children lies with the parents. School starts on August 16th, 2004. We urge you to register your children NOW as it will help us in preparing ourselves to better service the needs of your children.
